In our latest One of Us, we catch up with Stephanie Martiniano, District's Logistics Coordinator, to talk favourite pieces, the stories behind them and the objects she'd happily make room for at home.
What District product would you put in your own home?
Definitely the Bronto Espresso Cups in brown by Hem. I love the design and think they'd be such a nice addition to my kitchen. Plus, we all love coffee, and coffee is life!
What District product would you put in someone else's home?
I'd have to say Flauti by Giopato & Coombes. I love how unique each piece is and the story behind the collection, particularly the inspiration drawn from human connections and the art of glassmaking. There's something really special about that.
And of course, I'd have to include the Bronto Espresso Cups. You can never go wrong with a good coffee cup!
What's your favourite District product story?
Definitely Scarabei by Giopato & Coombes and the story of the scarab beetle. I love how something found in nature can inspire such an interesting piece of design. It's one of those stories that makes you appreciate the thought and creativity behind a collection even more.
