With design direction from Chandler Architecture, Lily Bailey and the wider District team worked closely with architect Sophie Russell and Loreto to bring the school’s teaching hub to life. The brief called for a space that felt removed from the bustle of the surrounding classrooms, creating a calm, considered environment where staff could focus, prepare and recharge throughout the day.

At the centre of the design are our custom Moto4 booths, positioned alongside bespoke joinery. Each booth features fully pinnable walls, encouraging teachers to personalise their individual zone. Integrated storage prioritises privacy and adaptability, allowing users to keep essential resources close at hand while maintaining a sense of visual order.
To complement the booths, the space is furnished with Elements Soft Pedestals, providing additional flexibility and comfort, as well as a Simon James Underline Boardroom Table paired with Felix Chairs on castors. This combination allows for effortless reconfiguration, supporting everything from informal discussions to larger group meetings.

The result is a thoughtful, functional environment that recognises the importance of giving teachers a place of their own, one that encourages focus, flexibility, and a sense of community.
