The Min Chair by Max Lamb for Hem is made from three pine posts, each cut once on the diagonal.

One forms the front legs, another creates the back legs and backrest, and the third becomes the seat. With almost no material wasted, a single repeated angle defines the chair's distinctive silhouette.

Originally conceived as a self-build design, Min evolved through years of refinement across different materials and scales before arriving at this production version. Crafted from solid FSC-certified pine and finished with a lightly white-pigmented matte lacquer, the timber develops a richer character as it ages.
