Apsis takes its name from architecture.

The semi-circular form has long been used to organise space, draw focus and frame objects. Here, that same logic shapes a collection defined by clarity, balance and use.

The armchair is the origin. A continuous, horseshoe backrest wraps around the sitter, supporting both back and arms while allowing freedom to shift position. You can sit forward, turn to the side, or settle back into the curve. The geometry determines the structure. Its leg configuration is deliberately unconventional, set on a radial axis with one leg to the front, one to the back and two at the sides. This arrangement gives the chair its distinct stance, while low crossbars stabilise the frame and resolve the form into a composed whole.

The bistro chair follows as a direct reduction. Its backrest connects two legs rather than four, and the base returns to a more familiar corner placement. The result is lighter, more compact, while retaining the essential character of the collection.

Each piece is made from solid wood using refined, traditional methods. Precise milling and shaping bring a quiet exactness to the components. Soft curves meet defined edges, creating a tactile quality that reveals itself over time.

The collection extends beyond seating. Stools are offered in three heights, from chair to counter to bar, alongside tables in round and square formats. Together, they form a coherent system, grounded in geometry and resolved through craftsmanship.

Beech or walnut wood of European origin and legal wood cutting, non-removable fabric / leather seat upholstery option.
