Collection: Tekla

Tekla started in Copenhagen with bedding and has since worked its way through the rest of the home. At District the range covers organic cotton terry towels and bathmats, organic cotton quilt covers and pillowcases, and lambswool blankets. Stripes run through most of it, in colour pairings that are a little unexpected.

Tekla towels are made in organic cotton terry, in a midweight 600 GSM weave with long loops that take up water quickly. The yarns are extra-long and extra-combed, so the towels stay soft and last. The range runs from washcloth and guest towel to hand towel, bath towel and bath sheet, with a bathmat to match. Colours go from Ivory, Pebble and Kodiak Brown to Forest Green and Magenta, plus stripes for anyone who finds plain towels a bit too well behaved. Tekla beach towels are lighter at 330 GSM and woven in Portugal.
