John Astbury’s design studio was founded in 2014 and is based in Stockholm, Sweden. Astbury completed his studies in design at Konstfack, College of Arts and Crafts in 2011 after studying anthropology in England. His work is based on archetypes and reduces the object down to its basic elements, so that material, structure and form emerge. A design language with absolute simplicity, which at the same time makes visible the dialogues and symbols that surround the object.
