Inspired by the classic cutlery found in European cafés and bistros, the Bistrot collection pairs familiar forms with considered colour and material selections. Visible rivets and clean lines give the collection its character, while the pearlescent handle adds depth and subtle lustre.

The butter knife features a wide, rounded blade designed for butter, jams, honey and other spreads. Crafted from stainless steel with an acrylic handle, it brings everyday function to the table with a refined, contemporary feel.

In 1993, Francis Gelb was asked to design a knife. The young designer took up the challenge of producing a model with a square ferrule, and a complex design.
The “Sabre” collection - which would later give its name to the Maison - marked the beginning of a fruitful collaboration.
