First launched in 2016, Andreas Engesvik’s Bollo chair quickly stood apart. Introduced at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, it immediately sparked conversation, which signaled a design confident enough to hold its own.
A decade later, Bollo remains one of Fogia’s most recognisable pieces. Its generous cushions, grounded proportions and distinct silhouette have helped define a new era of Scandinavian lounge design. It is used, lived with and continually specified because it balances warmth, clarity and purpose.

To celebrate ten years, Fogia has released the Bollo 10 Years Anniversary Editions. The Stockholm Edition refines the familiar form with a calm crème‑coloured sheepskin seat and back paired with smooth black leather armrests. The palette is restrained, which heightens its sculptural presence without compromising the softness that defines the chair.
Engesvik has shaped much of Fogia’s contemporary language through pieces such as Tiki, Dini and Barba. His work brings together material sensitivity and a clear, quietly expressive approach. These qualities have made Bollo a contemporary icon.
Ten years on, Bollo remains true to its essence. It is comfortable, character-led and built to last. A design created with intent and with longevity in mind.
